Girish Kasaravalli to deliver lecture at SOC auditorium

Manipal: The Dr. T.M.A. Pai Chair for Indian Literature and School of Communication (SOC) of Manipal University have jointly organised a lecture by well-known film director, Girish Kasaravalli, and a screening of a documentary film portraying Kasaravalli’s life and work, directed by O.P. Srivastava, at the SOC auditorium here on April 2.

In a press release issued on Thursday, Nandini Lakshmikantha, Director of SOC, said that Kasaravalli will be delivering a lecture on “Fiction and Film” at 10 a.m. There will be an interaction with the audience after the lecture.

There will be a screening of a documentary “Life in Metaphors” directed by O.P. Srivastava, which won a national award recently, at 2 p.m. Srivastava as well as Kasaravalli will participate in an interaction programme after the screening
