Golden jubilee celebration of Alumnae Association held at St Victor Girls’ High School

Puttur: Golden jubilee celebrations of St Victor Girls’ High School were held recently at Mai De Deus Church Hall.

Fr Gerald D’souza, secretary, Catholic Board of Education presided over the function. Fr Clifford D’Souza, alumnus, St Victor High School was the chief guest. In his address he shared his experience as a student.

Fr Alfred J Pinto, parish priest, Mai De Deus Church, Puttur, Jayamani Rai, founder president, alumna, Hilda D’Souza, honoury president Golden Jubilee Year, alumna, Nayana Rai, alumna, J P Rodrigues, vice-president, pastoral council, Puttur, Rosaline F Lobo, headmistress, Mary Lob, president, Alumnae Association, and Reena Rebello, secretary, Alumnae Association were on the dais.

Fr Gerald D’Souza in his presidential speech remarked that the school helped many girls to get good education and build their future.

Reena Rebello, secretary presented the annual report. Mary Lobo welcomed the gathering. Carmine Pais rendered the vote of thanks. The stage programme was compered by Shaila Mascarenhas and cultural programme was compered by Reena Rebello.
