Google plans to promote yoga with help from SDM

Ujire: A three-day workshop for 500 NSS officers of RGUHS organized by SDM Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences College, Ujire was held on June 19, Sunday.

Chetan Krishnaswamy, country head (public policy), Google India, stated that as per latest plans of Google to create awareness about importance of yoga at the global level, a special programme will be drawn up using help from SDM, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala.

D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, who presided over the function said," Regular practice of yoga will help bring mental equilibrium among youth, and create new zest for life."

"One can raise their level of performance in any field by continuous and daily practice of yoga in addition to preserving one’s health," he added.
