Gracy Martis(79) of Ozanum Home, Kallianpur no more

Udupi : Gracy Martis aged around 79 years of Pangala, Shakerpura residing at the Ozanum Home for the Aged, Kallianpur near here since decade passed away due to massive heart attack on Friday evening, 19th February, 2016.

She wrote several short stories, poetry and other articles in Rakhno weekly, Divo Weekly, Uzwad, Milarchi Lahram, Rozarichi Ganch, Mithr and other popular weekly papers, magazines etc.

She was a good speaker, religious minded and social with her jokes. She was most popular in Kallianpur and her native Pangala, Shankerpura. Whatever functions or other such occasions, she used to give gratitude for organizers of any kind on behalf of Ozanum Home inmates and nuns. She had good relations with inmates, management, Chaplains and Nuns as well during her stay at Ozanum Home.

Her funeral cortege will be kept at the Ozanum Home for the Aged at Kallianpur. After the funeral mass at the Ozanum Home Chapel at 3 pm on Saturday, 20th February, 2016, funeral cortege leaves from Ozanum Home at 3.30 pm to St. John's Evangelist Church, Pangala, Shankerpura. Funeral mass at 4 pm at Pangala Church.
