Grand 175th monthly theatre presented at Kalaangann

Mangaluru: Mandd Sobhann has been presenting Monthly Theatres on the first Sunday of every month, without a break, for the past 15 years, and has achieved another milestone by presenting 175 Monthly Theatres!

Internationally acclaimed singer, Tagore Das, of ‘Ek Shyam Rafi Ke Naam’ fame and his team presented his first Konkani musical concert titled ‘Bhas Konkani Rag Tarangini’ at the 175th Monthly Theatre, on Sun., July 3, 2016, at Kalaangann, Mangalore.

Various Konkani songs of the GSB Konkani dialect were sung by Tagore Das, Padmini Nayak, Jyothika Nayak and Prithika Nayak and scintillating performances were rendered by the team of talented dancers.

The house-full crowd was enthralled by Tagore Das’ rendition of a Hindi song and a Konkani song originally sung by Mohammed Rafi.
