Green Day observed at Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi

ICYM Bajjodi unit organized 'Green Day' on Sunday, July 15th at 8.00am in the church premises. Ms. Pranita - Amcho Yuvak Representative of ICYM Bajjodi Unit welcomed the gathering. The celebration began with a prayer song by the youth. Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Patrick Lobo presided as the Chief Guest for the programme. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Ivan Dsouza, Rev. Fr. Patrick Lobo, Mr. Joseph Mascarenhas - Vice President and Mrs. Irene Pinto - Secretary, Parish Pastoral Council, Animator Mr. Kiran Crasta planted a sapling as an expression of love and concern for nature.

Rev. Fr. Patrick Lobo in his inspiring message highlighted the significance of the day. He urged to join hands for this noble cause and help in little ways to curb the destruction of this planet. The youth planted 50 saplings in the pots. At the end Rev. Fr. Ivan Dsouza appreciated and congratulated the organizers and all the participants for their active involvement towards this Vanamahotsava programme. Ms. Princia - Vice President of ICYM Bajjodi Unit delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Unit President Mr. Joel Fernandes.
