HPCL holds customers awareness meet on cashless transactions

Mangaluru: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation has organised a Customer Awareness Programme on Cashless Transactions at its sales outlet at Bala. Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Nalin said, "The general public should utilise credit, debit cards and loyalty cards at petrol bunks and avail 0.75% discount. Such cashless transactions also contribute to transparency in financial dealing. There is a responsibility on everyone to increase the cashless transactions from the present 25 % to 50 % by this month end."

Narasimha K Chari, Deputy General Manager of South Zone of HPCL also spoke on the importance of cashless transactions. T Ramana Babu, DGM of South Central Zone, M Vasanth Rao, Chief Regional Manager in Mangaluru Regional Office and other officials were present.
