Head constable missing since about month

Mangaluru: Mohan Kumar (35) who was serving City Armed Reserve Police contingent here in the capacity of head constable has been missing since about a month. Kumar, a native of Manjeshwar in Kasargod district, had left his home at Manjeshwar on the morning of June 5 to attend to his duties in the city. Thereafter he neither reported for duty here nor returned home.

Kumar, who was married, lived separately from his wife.Kumar had been absent from his duties for several days prior the day he went missing.

Although he was allotted a police quarters in the city, Kumar used to commute from Manjeshwar, where his mother lives alone. He was in police service since the last 12 years. He can converse in Kannada, Tulu and Malayalam. People having any information about him have been requested to get in touch with Manjeshwar police station.
