Headmaster of high school arrested for sexual harassment

Kundapur: The headmaster of Hallihole Primary School near was arrested on Tuesday following complaints of sexual harassment by his students. The arrested is Srinivasa Joshi (59). A student in the school had pleaded with her parents to admit her in another school as she was embarrassed that the headmaster was touching her inappropriately in the school.

The headmaster admitted his guilt and the parents lodged a complaint with the education department. The headmaster has admitted his fault in the investigations held by the department of education.

A police complaint has been registered at Shankernarayana police station here under POCSO act. Police have arrested the teacher.
