Home Minister Parameshwar says lawbreakers will be dealt strictly

Mangaluru: State home Minister Dr G Parameshwar was in Mangaluru on Tuesday. Speaking to reporters t the District Congress Office, he said that Police have been asked to deal law breakers strictly whichever party or organisation they belong to.

"The law and order situation in Mangaluru was quite better as of now. I want it to improve further. I condemn the murder of Karopady GP Vice President Abdul Jaleel Karopady. Police will soon file a chargesheet against the 11 people, who have been arrested. All the gulity will be punished."

On the Ahmed Qureshi case, the Home Minister said the CoD probe will reveal the truth. Regarding arrest of the accused in the Karthik Raj case six months after the incident, the Minister said some cases were solved within a few days while others took years as in case of Prof. Kalburgi murder case

DK District in-charge Minister Ramanath Rai, Chief Whip of State Legislative Council Ivan D’Souza, district Congress Interim President Ibrahim Kodijal, District Youth Congress President Mithun Rai, Puttur MLA Shakuntala Shetty and others were present.
