Udupi: I was one of the partner in Hotel Durga International, Udupi and I dissolved my partnership in the year 2012. Since then I have no connection with deceased, K. Bhaskar Shetty nor his wife, Rajeshwari Shetty and son, Navneeth Shetty. If Rajeshwari Shetty and Navneeth Shetty have done any crime, they should be punished, said D. Bhaskar Shetty.

In his press meeting to the media persons at the Udupi Press Club on Thursday, D. Bhaskar Shetty said that he came to know that in the media a rumour of his being as one of the accused in the said crime is being spread. However, he strongly opposed such rumor and clarified that neither he nor his family has any connection with the crime and his name is being wrongly mentioned.

He said that even prior to 2012, during his vacation at Saudi Arabia he had seen Mrs. Rajeshwari Shetty and K. Bhaskar Shetty quarreling. At that time, he said he used to interfere and helped to sort out their differences with his guidance. He said since 2012, I have no connection either with them or in their family matter. The Bunts community have held protest in this case. I further appeal to the public that myself or my son Bhargav Shetty and my sister’s son D. Balakrishna Shetty have no role in any regard to the murder of K. Bhaskar Shetty.

He alleged that K. Bhaskar Shetty’s mother Gulabi Shetty and her family have captured the property of the deceased in Saudi Arabia. I came to understand that even the property of Katpady is also in the name of Gulabi Shetty. Besides these properties, there is also a loan of around Rs. 6.5 crores in Karnataka Bank, Adi Udupi Branch on the remaining property.

D. Bhaskar Shetty, an entrepreneur is Mrs. Rajeshwari Shetty’s brother in law, who held the press meeting along with his son Bhargav Shetty and D. Bhaskar Shetty’s sister’s son, D. Balakrishna Shetty. They argue that K. Bhaskar Shetty still alive which is unbelievable. Whatever the case might be, police will solve the case of murder
