ICYM Bantwal unit holds ‘Yuva Sambram 2018’

Bantwal: ICYM Bantwal deanery in collaboration with ICYM Bantwal unit organised 'Yuva Sambram 2K18, a deanery level programme for the youth at Anugraha Church Hall, Modankap.

The programme started with a prayer song. Fr Maxim Noronha, parish priest of Bantwal Church, Fr Kiran Pinto, ICYM director Bantwal deanery, Fr Nelson Almeda, resource person for the day, Sr Supriya, superior, Carmel Convent Modankap, Richard D’Souza, secretary Bantwal Church, Joel Fernandes, treasurer, ICYM Mangaluru diocese, Calwin, president, ICYM Bantwal deanery, and Minol, secretary, ICYM Bantwal deanery inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp.

The morning session was conducted by Fr Nelson Almeda regarding 'Media and the Youth'.

The afternoon session began with action songs led by Fr Ashwin Crasta, assistant parish priest, Bantwal Church. The central council members then conducted various fun oriented activities for the youth.

The programme concluded with a message from Fr Ashwin Cardoza, assistant director, ICYM Mangaluru diocese.

Around 160 youths participated in the event.
