ICYM Central Council Mangalore Diocese celebrates 72nd Indian Independence Day with Selfie with Soldier Campaign all over the diocese

On the occasion of 72nd Indian Independence Day ICYM Central Council Mangalore Diocese organised Selfie with Soldier Campaign on 15th August 2018 all over the diocese. A Day to honour and salute our heroes who have served our motherland India.


On behalf of Selfie with Soldier Campaign ICYM Central Council Executive members of Mangalore Diocese along with the Director met Exserviceman Flight Lieutenant Edward Netto ( Eddie Netto ) at his place where he shared his hardship experience among the gathering.

The Executive members of ICYM Central Council Mangalore Diocese felecitated and honoured Ex-serviceman Flight Lieutenant Edward Netto for his service towards our nation and by clicking a selfie with him gave a kick start to Selfie with Soldier Campaign.

With regard to Selfie with Soldier Campaign all the units of ICYM Mangalore Diocese celebrated 72nd Indian Independence Day in their respective units by honouring and felecitating defence personnel and knowing their hardship experience while in service.

In this way 72nd Indian Independence Day was celebrated all over the diocese and a day to remember.
