ICYM Madanthyar Unit incolloboration with Nithyadhar Ward organized "Ghadyanth Khel - 2018" on Sunday 9 September 2018 inter ward sports competition in the fields of Uday Kumar Kattemane at Atthaje, Punjalkatte. Rev Fr Basil Vas Parish Priest Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Madanthyar and Director ICYM Madanthyar Unit presided over the programme.

Rev Fr Alwyn Dsouza Assistant Parish Priest and Assistant Director ICYM Madanthyar Unit, Rev Fr Jerome Dsouza Principal Sacred Heart PU College, Deacon Br. Alwyn Dsouza, Jaison Pereira Shirthady President ICYM Central Council Mangalore Diocese, Vivian Fernandes Madanthyar President ICYM Belthangady Deanery, Sr Treeza Crasta Animator ICYM Madanthyar unit, Lilly Benedicta Dsouza Nithyadhar Ward Gurkar, Uday Kumar Kattemane and Vinay Kumar Kattemane Owner of the field, Chandappa Poojary and Nithin Poojary Owner of the house were the dignitaries on the dais.
The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp with “Kreeda Jyothi” carried by Avil Dsouza Sports Incharge ICYM Madanthyar unit and Rev Fr Alwyn Dsouza gave a kick start to the programme with a Buffallo race in the field. Ronald Sequiera Vice President Parish Pastoral Council conducted the oath taking ceremony.
Under the Leadership of ICYM Madanthyar Unit, 22 Ward parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Madanthyar actively participated in the competitions. Arvin Moras and Tyson Dcunha were the convenors of the programme. Sir Elias and Saritha Lobo were the judges for the programme. Maria Pereira and Ronald Monis compered the programme.
