Udupi: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) unit of Milagres Cathedral celebrated Annual Day in a grand way at Milagres Tri-Centenary Hall, Kallianpur on Easter Sunday.
The programme started with a welcome dance by the ICYM youth of the unit. Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo, Spiritual Director of ICYM and Rector of Milagres Cathedral, Rev Fr. Edwin D’Souza, Diocesan Director of Youth Commission, Rev Fr. Fredrick D’Souza, Spiritual Director of ICYM, Kallianpur Deanery, Rev Fr. Rolwin Aranha, Asst. Parish Priest of Milagres Cathedral, Rev Fr. Mahesh D’Souza, Asst Parish Priest of Mount Rosary and Principal of Milagres English Schools, Derick Mascarenhas, President of ICYM Udupi Diocese Committee, Melroy Almeida, President of the unit, Deacon Denis Miranda, Animators and others were present on the dais.
Fr. Edwin D’Souza and Fr. Fredrick D’Souza spoke during the occasion and praised the ICYM members of Milagres for their marvelous services for the youth and the community.
ICYM unit honoured all gurkars of the church as well as Fr. Mahesh D’Souza, Deacon Denis Miranda during the occasion. Earlier, Komal D’Souza Secretary placed the long report of the unit for the year. Waylon Machado compered the programme.
Various programmes like beautiful and meaningful skit, dances, singing were held during the celebrations. The annual celebration was held with lot of fun and entertainment for the participants on the evening of Easter Sunday.
