ICYM Omzoor Unit celebrated New Year Eve with the Holy Eucharistic celebration by invoking blessings from the almighty and to welcome New Year 2019. After the mass, ICYM Omzoor Unit organised new year celebration at the church grounds.

Rev. Fr Alwyn Dcunha - Parish Phone, Omzoor Church presided over the programme along with Patrick Pinto - Vice President, Omzoor Parish Pastoral Council. Cultural programs like singing, dance performances were held and fun games were conducted. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.

On this auspicious occasion, ICYM Omzoor unit came up with a humanitarian work. A 24 year old youth from Omzoor, has lost his kidneys and now he undergoes dialysis thrice a week at Fr Mullers Hospital, Mangalore. For this noble cause. ICYM members conducted an American auction of Rooster Cock which was led by Elroy Patrick Saldanha, Omzoor. Within half an hour, the total amount accumulated from the auction was Rs 1,57,500/-

The youth are real future of our society. So let's empower our youth, guide and strengthen them. The target of these young minds is to collect another Rs 6,00,000 for the kidney transplantation. If you feel inspired then you too can join us in this noble and humanitarian work.
