Illegal slaughter house raided; four held

Beltangady: An illegal slaughterhouse at Kanyadi was raided within the limits of Nada gram panchayat on Tuesday March 29. Realizing that the place was about to be raided, the accused fled from the scene, leaving behind the carcass of a cow that had just been killed.

On the basis of reliable information, police raided the spot. The slaughterhouse was located inside a plantation owned by George from Guripalla.

The police have identified the accused as locals, George, Simon, Binoy, and Manoj. They have launched a manhunt for them.
