Inaugural Programme of Eco Club at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: Eco Club of St Philomena College Puttur organized its inaugural programme on August 13, 2016 in Spandana Seminar Hall.

The chief guest Dr. Prasanna Rai K, HoD of Botany in his address said, ‘Environmental pollution is a global problem. In India, it has assumed threatening proportions due to the influence of number of factors. Therefore, greater emphasis is urgently needed to protect our environment.’

 

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha presided over the programme. The Convenor of Eco Club Mr. Nagaraju M, coconvenors Ms. Rakshitha R B and Ms. Shashiprabha B were present on this occasion.

Ms. Namitha K T Gowda welcomed the gathering. Mr. Nixon Joseph proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Crystal Rodrigues compered the programme.
