Inauguration of MBA Batch 2019-2021 at MBA Seminar Hall AIET Mijar by Chief guest Dr Devaraj K, Founder Director of SDM PG Centre for Business Management and Research, Mangalore

On 05-10-2019 , PG department of Business Administration, Alvas Institute of Engineering and Technology had Inauguration program of MBA Batch 2019-2021 at MBA Seminar Hall AIET Mijar. Mr Vivek Alva, Managing Trustee Alvas Education Foundation , Dr Devaraj K, Founder Director of SDM PG Centre for Business Management and Research, Mangalore, Dr Peter Fernandes, Principal of AIET, Dr Claret Mendonca, Head of MBA Dept and Ms Rinu Thomas , alumni of dept of MBA , AIET Mijar inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Dr G.V. Joshi , senior Professor of Dept of MBA and all other faculty members were present in the program

Chief guest Dr Devaraj K, Founder Director of SDM PG Centre for Business Management and Research, Mangalore, was present in the program. Speaking on the occasion Dr Devaraj K said that, “there should be interconnection and interdisciplinary activities between engineering and MBA Department”. He also pointed out the proper preparation is very important to do any activity successfully. He threw light on the concepts like social responsibility, corporate social responsibility and the right attitude which is required by the MBA students to pursue greater heights in life.

Ms Rinu Thomas, alumni of MBA batch 2016-18 created zeal among new MBA aspirants by her straight words from heart. At present she is working with Ernst and Young as advanced associate. She was felicitated by Mr Vivek Alva Managing Trustee of ALVAS EDUCATION FOUNDATION.

Sri. Vivek Alva, Managing Trustee of ALVAS EDUCATION FOUNDATION, advised students on different grounds which are important to succeed in life. He gave a great insight into the different dimensions of attempts to achieve academic excellence. He revealed the importance of training and keeping high aspiration. He also pin pointed the importance of networking. He made MBA students to understand the importance of active participation in academic and cocurriculam activities.
