Inter Rotary Club Quiz Contest: Rotary Club of Madikeri Misty Hills Claims Trophy

Mangaluru, Jan 23. Rotary club of Madikeri Misty Hills Team represented by Rtn.Dr. Prashanth and Rtn Gopalakrishna duo clinched the prestigious 10th Annual Rotary Quiz Trophy by securing 106 Points. The RC club of Baikampady Team represented by Rtn. Subodh Kumar Das and Rtn Prasad Prabhu secured 82 points and were runners up.

The Rotary Club of Mangalore Central as a part of their Rotary movement awareness campaign conducted the 10th Annual district level “Inter club Rotary Quiz” Contest on 22.01.16 at Eden club Mangaluru. Quiz was based on exclusively on Rotary affairs and issues.

Shimoga based Rotary past district governor Rtn. Dr. P Narayan graced the occasion as Chief Guest and in his address he lauded the efforts of Quiz Master Rtn. Dr. Devadas Rai for his invaluable contributions to the Rotary movement, later he awarded the Rotary Glittering Trophy, Certificates and Cash prizes to the Winners and Runners up and congratulated them on their achievements. Asst. Governor Rtn. K Ramakrishna Kamath was the Guest of honour, he released the weekly club bulletin. Club President Rtn. Elias Sanctis presided over the function. Past President Rtn.Santhosh Shet and Secretary Rtn Prasad Shetty were present on this occasion. 8 teams from Coorg, Shimoga, Puttur, Mangaluru qualified for the final round. Zonal lieutenant Rtn.
