International standard gym to be started in Udupi

Udupi: International standard gym with modern materials worth Rs.2 crore valued well equipped and vast Gym will be started at Udupi. This was informed by Pramod Madhwaraj, Minister for Sports, Fisheries and Youth Empowerment, Karnataka State.

He was speaking after inaugurating District Youth Convention held at Tenkanidiyoor First Grade College, Tenkanidiyoor, which was organized by Youth Empowerment and Sports Ministry, Nehru Youth Centre, Udupi and Government First Grade College on Saturday. He said in Karnataka state at four places International standard gyms with American gyms related high technology materials with the expense of Rs. 2 crore will be provided.

During the occasion Sports materials and Cheques were distributed for the youth associations. Sheela K. Shetty Zilla panchayat Vice President, Janardhan Thonse ZP member, Jacintha D’Souza Convener of Nehru Youth Centre, Prof. Balakrishna Hegde Principal of Tenkanidiyoor Govt. First Grade College, Prakyath Shetty Entrepreneur and other were present.
