Mangaluru: Senior Congress Leader B Janardhana Poojary has lambasted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for failing to keep his words on Acche Din.
Poojary said that Acche Din promises have disillusioned people and it is far from reality. Today price of petrol is hiked up to Rs. 2.58liter and diesel by 2.26liter while service tax is increased up to 15%. There is also an increase in price of every gas cylinder by Rs 21, he said.
Criticizing Modi for his promises of a Congress-free nation, Poojary said that Modi was however silent about the violations in the border which have claimed the lives of several soldiers.
