Mangaluru: Former minister and mining baron Janardhana Reddy who was in the news recently for the grand wedding of his daughter at Bengaluru, has on December 6, Tuesday silently paid a visit to Kateel Sri Dugaparameshwari Temple and offered Chandika Havana there.

It has been gathered that none in the Kateel shrine too had any intimation regarding his visit. Reddy who arrived by a car with his wife, had taken a room at Hotel Soundarya Palace. The room was booked in the name of a person called Suryanarayana Sharma of Bellary.

Reddy who spoke to media briefly said he visited Kateel every year. He however refused to comment on any other issue.
