KMC to hold free cardiac check-up camp

Manipal: The departments of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Technology will hold a free cardiac consultation and cardiac check-up camp for municipality workers on the occasion of World Heart Day 2016 on September 25, 2016 at the Dr TMA Pai Hall. Dr Poornima Baliga, Dean Kasturba Medical College, Manipal will inaugurate the camp.

Dr Tom Devasia, Head Of Department Cardiology said that the camp would be extended for a week to create awareness and to propagate the “I love my heart” concept. He said that the senior citizens could avail of a discounted rate in the check-up and treatment. “Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and regular check-up are very important he said
