KS Hegde Hospital honours nurses on International Nurses Day

Mangaluru: K.S Hegde Hospital and Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences jointly celebrated International Nurses Day on Friday. The programme was inaugurated by Registrar of K. S. Hegde Medical Academy, Dr Jayaprakash Shetty. He rendered floral tribute to Florence Nightingale by garlanding the portrait.

On the occasion five nurses namely Lalitha, Jayanthi, Janaki, Mary and Jacintha honoured with Nurse Excellence Awards for their outstanding service. . The senior nurses of the hospital spoke their experiences in the nursing profession.

Pavithra, Asst. Lecturer of Nursing College welcomed the gathering. Swathi, Asst. Lecturer compared the programme and thanked the gathering.

Medical superintendent of the KS Hegde Hospital Dr. Major Shivakumar Hiremath, Vice dean Dr. Prakash, Asst. Medical Superintendent Dr. Muraleedar Pai, Nursing Superintendent Shirly Lucas, Clinical Coordiantor, Dr. Jacintha Veigas were present
