KSRTC knocks down 60-year-old

Puttur: In a tragic incident, a 60-year-old man died on the spot after a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus knocked him down. The deceased person has been identified as Doomappa Moolya, resident Kaudichchar of Ariyadka village

Doomappa was on his way to attend a house warming ceremony, when the incident occurred on Mani-Mysuru state highway on Monday December 28 night.

Doomappa was walking by the roadside to attend house warming ceremony, when a bus moving towards the town from the direction of Sullia hit him. Moolya, who suffered serious injuries, lost his life on the spot.

Sampya police have registered a case. The deceased is survived by wife, two sons, and two daughters.
