‘Kalakulotsav’, a two-day Konkani drama festival by ‘Kalakul’ will be held at Town Hall

Mangaluru: ‘Kalakulotsav’, a two-day Konkani drama festival by ‘Kalakul’ – Konkani’s lone theatre repertory, run by Mandd Sobhann, will be held at Town Hall, Mangalore, on June 18 & 25, 2017.


The four plays which will be showcased on these days are –

• June 18 – 5.30 p.m. – ‘Magirchem Magir’ written by Chafra D’Costa.
• June 18 – 7.30 p.m. – ‘Dev ani Denvchar’ written by Arun Raj Rodrigues.
• June 25 – 5.30 p.m. – ‘1+1=1’ comprising of ‘Vishentiche Bhav’ by Chafra D’Costa & ‘8 Fo’tti’ by Fr. Alwyn Serrao.
• June 25 – 7.30 p.m. – ‘Paying Guest’ written by Arun Raj Rodrigues.

Christopher D’Souza Neenasam has directed all these plays.

The public is hereby invited to attend Kalakulotsav and encourage the artists. Entry free.
