Udupi: The second state level Karavali film festival 2016 (Kannada and Tulu movies) was inaugurated at Ravindra Kala Mantap auditorium of MGM College, Kunjibettu on Sunday June 19.
The film fest was organized by Karnataka Film Academy in collaboration with UNICEF Prasar Bharati national award winner, Disha Communications Katpady.
Dr P V Bhandary, psychiatrist of Dr A V Baliga Hospital, Doddanagudde inaugurated the film festival. In all, 12 shorts films will be screened during the film festival.
