Karnataka Rakshana Vedike staged protest at Udupi on Mahadayi

Udupi, 30th Jul. 16 : Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists at Udupi staged a protest demonstration at Clock Tower, near the Service bus station on Saturday, 30th July, 2016. They approached to extend cooperation for the cause of the state and the farmers of Karnataka.

The activists of KRV of Udupi unit were demanding justice to the farmers seeking water from Mahadayi river and asked the Central government to interfere and ensure justice to the State over sharing of Mahadayi water.

Several leaders spoke during the protest demonstration. District KRV President, S. R. Lobo, District Vice President, Raviraj Shetty Kodankur, District Secretary P. N. Chetan Rao, Kamalar Mendon, Udupi Taluk President Sujay Poojary, district and taluk level office bearers and activists of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike were present. Police department arranged law and order situation during the protest with the presence of sufficient policemen
