Language Enhancement Course inaugurated at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: IQAC, Department of Computer Science and Department of English of St Philomena College Puttur jointly organized inaugural function of Language Enhancement Course on July 1, 2016 in Spandana Seminar Hall.

 

The Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro participated as the chief guest. He said, ‘Language is the means of communication. To inspire the students, teachers must have command over the language.’

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha participated as the President of the programme. He said, ‘English language is a global language. It is not our native language. We must make constant efforts to speak foreign language.’

The Head of the Department of Computer Science Prof. Vinayachandra coordinated the programme. The newly appointed lecturers of the college have participated in the programme.

Ms. Aparna and team with a prayer song invoked God to shower his choicest blessings. The Coordinator of IQAC Dr. A P Radhakrishna welcomed the gathering. The Head of the Department of English Prof. Bharathi S Rai proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Suma D compered the programme.
