Laudato Si – an encyclical letter by Pope Francis about Environmental conservation as well in accordance with the vision of Rt. Rev. Dr Peter Saldanha - Bishop of Diocese of Mangalore to promote conservation of nature in the diocese 25th November 2018 was observed as Laudato Si Sunday (Green Sunday) across the diocese, on this auspicious occasion the parishioners of St. Rita Church, Cascia under the guidance of Rev. Fr Harold Mascarenhas – Parish Priest and under the leadership of Jossy Theodore - Vice president and Vivita Dsouza – Secretary, Cascia parish pastoral council observed Laudato Si Sunday on 25th November 2018 by planting saplings at the church premises.
