Laxmi Memorial College holds intercollegiate competition for Nurses Day

Mangaluru: Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing organised seminar cum intercollegiate competition on May 10 at LMET auditorium, Balmatta under the guidance of Dr Larissa Martha Sams, Principal and SNA-Advisor Raina Menezes.

Sr Loredhana Korah was the chief guest and the resource person for the day. She stressed on nurses day theme 'Nurses a voice to lead –achieving sustainable development goals'.

Dr Neetha Kamath, Associate professor , Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences stressed on how youth can be empowered for sustainable future. Leena Dsouza, Assistant Professor LMCN showed bird's eye view on nursing in the current scenario.

Students from various colleges in and around Mangalore registered for the event and actively participated in the various competition held throughout the day. Dr Larissa Martha Sams addressed the gathering, Olin Saji welcomed the gathering. The programme was compeered by Clerita Lobo, assistant lecturer.
