Lorry driven by father accidentally kills son in Kasargod

Kasargod: In a tragic accident, a son lost his life under a lorry driven by his own father. The incident happened at Mulleria near here on Monday, December 28. Mohammed Rizwan (21), son of Abdulla from Karabar in Belthangady is the person deceased.

Abdulla and his son Mohammed Rizwan were going to Kozhikode from Belthangady in a wood laden lorry. When the lorry reached Kadakavannat near Mulleria, a noise under the lorry disturbed them. Abdulla, who was driving, stopped the lorry and asked his son to go beneath the lorry and to see what was wrong.

While Rizwan was beneath the lorry to find out the mistake, the lorry moved forward by accident. Rizwan was trapped under the tyre during the brief movement of the lorry and was killed instantly.
