Lourdes Central School, Sharada Vidyalaya shine at 'Bedazzle' badminton tourney

Mangaluru: The valedictory function of 'Badminton Bedazzle', an under-14 category inter-school shuttle badminton championship for ICSE and CBSE schools of the twin districts, hosted by the city's Lourdes Central School, was held.

Lourdes Central School, the hosts were the winners of Girls under-14 category and Vidyodaya Public School from Udupi were the runners-up.

Sharada Vidyalaya was the champion in Boys under-14 category and Lourdes Central School were the runners-up.

The function was graced by Fr Wilson L Vitus D’Souza, manager of Lourdes Central School; Fr Robert D’Souza, principal; Belita Mascarenhas, vice-principal and management committee members.

The principal congratulated and honoured the winners and felicitated the team managers and also appreciated the participants.

Earlier, KG co-ordinator Lydia D’Souza, welcomed the gathering on behalf of the management of Lourdes Central School.

Linette Pereira compered the programme. Grace Roche delivered the vote of thanks
