Lourdes Central School conducts fresher’s day programme

Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School organized a fresher’s day programme on June 3, to welcome the new staff and students.

The principal Fr Robert D’Souza welcomed the staff and students. In his address he stressed that learning is a prerequisite and a continuous process.

The new Lourdites were welcomed through a melodious song sung by the choir group. The manager Fr Wilson Vitus D’Souza delivered a lovely message on 'yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is a gift and is called the present'. He expressed that he is proud to be part of the Lourdite family as LCS stands for discipline and value based education.

Dance being one of the most pure forms of expressing emotion, an elegant dance was performed by Lohitha and group of class 12. The programme ended with the MCs, Tialla and Devina signing off.
