Kasargod: A girl student of a school tried to end life by jumping down from the first floor of her school building on Tuesday January 10, with the aim of ending her life. However, luckily she escaped unhurt. The incident happened in a school located within Adur police station limits in the district. Reportedly, the student who attempted suicide was heart-broken by the fact that her love affair was facing lot of obstacles.

The school administration had summoned the parents of the girl and were holding discussions with her in their presence, when she said she had fallen in love with a person. During the discussions, one of the relatives is said to have commented that the girl's family members will have to positively think of committing suicide en masse in the light of this development.
