MBA students' association ‘Volmas’ inaugurated at SIT

Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute of Technology’s MBA students association ‘Volmas’ was inaugurated on Thursday.

Fr Alwin Serrao, principal, Padua College of Commerce and Management was the chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion he emphasized on the importance of such association as well as about the leadership skills that every management student should possess and also advised students on how to lead a balanced life.

Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college and president of the function, congratulated the association members for forming the association and for adding the new activities, and said that more activities should be conducted under the association for the development of students. He also emphasized the importance of various management skills and also how to deal with the situations.

Vijeth Kumar Rai, president of ‘Volmas’ welcomed the gathering, Venkataramana introduced the guest to the audience, and the office bearers were introduced by Prof Praveena D, staff coordinator of ‘Volmas’. Devika K, secretary of ‘Volmas’ read out the action plan for the academic year 2017-18.

Pooja V and Nidha Ayesha compered the programme. Arvin Irel D’Souza rendered the vote of thanks.

Prof Hariprakash U P, head of MBA department was also present on the occasion.
