Malavika Avinash upset with Congress for not giving permission for Yatra

Udupi: Malavika Avinash, BJP State Media Spokeswomen condemned the decision of the state government to celebrate Tipu Sultan Jayanthi on 10th November, 2017. "There has been strong opposition from all communities of the society all over the state. The Kodava people, Christians and others especially at coastal Karnataka knOw that the hatred ruling of Tipu Sultan. He was not only a communal but cruel and anti Hindus. He demolished the religious places like temples and churches," she said.

The district administration of Kodagu has not given us a permission which is anti-democratic. It is neither a protest nor agitation, but it is the awareness for the people on overall failed and corrupted state government. It is the awareness rally of the BJP about the achievements of the Yeddyurappa former chief minister and Narendra Modi at the centre," she added.

District BJP President Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, State BJP leader Sulochana Bhat, ZP vice president Sheela K Shetty, Nayana Ganesh, Yashpal Suvarna, Suresh Nayak Kulaidy, Katpady Shanker Poojary and other among were present during the press meet.
