Mangaluru: In a tragic accident, a man on his regular morning walk was killed on the road. He was hit by an unidentified vehicle at about 5 am on Oct 9, Sunday at Hosabettu, Surathkal.

The deceased has been identified as Laxman Shetty. He was employed as a Senior Engineer in KIOCL.
The vehicle which hit him is not known. A case has been registered and the search is on for the driver.
