Manipal School welcomes new cabinet members at investiture ceremony

Mangaluru: The investiture ceremony of Manipal School was held on June 16 at 9.30 am at the school campus. The mayor of Mangaluru Harinath M was the chief guest.

He installed the young cabinet members in office and commended them for their role in the cabinet. He also added that it was a pleasure to see a miniature of the democratic system represented at the school which gave students hands on experience of how the parliament functions.

He stressed on the need for hardwork, dedication and perseverance by the cabinet members. He wished all the cabinet members all the best for the forthcoming year.

The former school cabinet members ushered in the chief guest, Harinath M in a formal guard of honour.

Principal Anuradha Shivaram administered the oath to the new office bearers. The newly elected leaders pledged to uphold the dignity and honour of the school by their hard work, dedication and perseverance. The principal presented a memento on behalf of the school. Vandana Nayak compered the programme.
