Mayor Kavitha Sanil says online payment of property tax and water bill in 4 months

Mangaluru: City Mayor Kavitha Sanil has informed that property tax and water bill payment will be collected online within the next four months. Addressing a press meet organised by the DK District Working Journalists Union at Press Club on Tuesday, she gave details of the various programmes that would be taken up by the MCC during her next one year tenure.

Along with beautification of the city, due emphasis will be laid to computerisation of various facilities, Kavitha Sanil said and added that footpath and drainage works too will be taken up on a preferential basis.

The Mayor informed that five e-toilets will be set up at Kadri Park, near Lalbagh, near Hampankatta Signal will be inaugurated within the next 15 days.

Former mayor Shashidhar Hegde, Working Journalists Union President Jagannath Shetty Bala, former president P B Harish Rai and others were present.
