Milagres C ward of Milagres Cathedral celebrates Annual Ward Fest

Udupi:  Milagres C ward of Milagres Cathedral celebrated Annual Ward Fest on Sunday, 1st March, 2015. The thanksgiving mass for patron St. Pius the X at Milagres Cathedral was held on Saturday, 28th February, the Eucharistic masswas led by Rev Fr. Rolwin Aranha. On the occasion of Annual Ward Fest, a get together of Ward people was held at Rocky D’Souza’s residence at noon.

Rev Fr. Rolwin Aranha, Asst. Vicar of Milagres Cathedral, Rev Fr. Mahesh D’Souza, Principal of Milagres English School and Sr. Marie were present. The programme started with a prayer dance by the children. Wilma Lewis conducted the prayers.

Dance, beautiful skit and housie game were held during the occasion. Small children of the ward were honoured with distribution of prizes. Meanwhile, outstanding achievers were also felicitated during the occasion. Fr. Rolwin Aranha, Fr. Mahesh and Sr. Marie were spoke during the occasion. Leander Lewis and Veera D’Silva compered the programme. Gurkar of the Ward Joseph D’Souza proposed vote of thanks. Former Gurkarn Philomena D’Souza, Hector Lewis, Clotilda Rebello, Fredrick Sequiera and others participated in the get together of ward on the occasion of Annual Day.
