Missing teen found dead

Kasargod: In a tragic incident, a 15 year old boy who was reportedly missing since last Thursday evening has been found dead. His decomposed body was found in a drain close by the Uduma Kalnad overbridge on Monday morning.

The deceased is Jasheer (15), son of Jaffer, a resident of Mangad. Jasheer was a tenth standard student of a school at Chattanchal. He had left home on Thursday evening to buy new clothes for the farewell function in his school, but never returned.

A frantic search by family members and relatives had proved futile. Police are investigating the case to ascertain the cause of the death of the boy.
