Muslim students stage protest against Srinivas College management

Mangaluru: Muslim Students of Srinivas College Valachil staged a protest outside the College on Saturday, against the college administration for restricting Muslim girls from wearing head scarf.

Even parents participated in the protest and shouted slogans against the college. Students were also irked over strict rules which are imposed on the Muslim students wherein they were not allowed to attend Friday Namaz and there was also a ban on beards.

Mangaluru Rural Police have tightened the security around the college premises.
