NAAC meeting held at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: As St Philomena College Puttur is in the process of NAAC reaccreditation in the month of March, a joint meeting of the executive committee members of Parent Teacher Association and Old Students’ Association was held in Spandana Seminar Hall on January 28, 2016.

 

Speaking on the occasion Campus Director of the college Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro said, ‘Parent Teacher Association and Old Students’ Association are the two important pillars of educational institution. As the peer team appointed by NAAC interacts with the members, everyone has to play a significant role and help the institution in awarding a better grade.’

The president of PTA Mr. Ganesh Rao, president of old students’ association Mr. M R Jayakumar Rai and Vice Principal Prof. Vishnu Bhat were present on this occasion. NAAC Steering committee coordinator Prof. Ganesh Bhat highlighted the process of reaccreditation. The secretary of old students association Prof. Bharath Kumar A welcomed the gathering. The secretary of PTA Dr. Vijaya Kumar Moleyar proposed the vote of thanks. IQAC coordinator Dr. A P Radhakrishna compered the programme.
