NSS Camp of St Philomena College Puttur inaugurated at Bhakthakodi

Puttur: The inaugural function of Annual Special Camp of National Service Scheme of St Philomena College Puttur was held in DKZP Higher Primary School Bhakthakodi of Puttur Taluk on November 15, 2016.

 

The inaugurator of the camp Mrs. Meenakshi Shanthigodu, President, DK Zilla Panchayath said, ‘NSS provides unique opportunities to the students to acquire practical experience, which will be very useful in their future life.’

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha, Member of Puttur Taluk Panchayath Mr. Shivaranjan, President of Sarve Grama Panchayath Mr. Vasantha S D, Head Mistress of DKZP Higher Primary School Bhakthakodi Mrs. Iris Devaprasanni, President of SDMC Mr. Ashoka S D, Former Physical Education Teacher Mr. Chandrashekhara N S D, Progressive Farmer Mr. Hiranya Ganapathy Bhat, President of Shanmukha Youth Club Mr. Subrahmanya Karumbaru and Dr. Seetharama Bhat Kallama participated as chief guests.

The Correspondent Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto presided over the programme. Ms. Tulasi and group performed the prayer. The NSS of Officer Mr. Radhakrishna Gowda V welcomed the gathering. The NSS of Officer Mrs. Geetha Poornima K proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Shrudda Rai compered the programme.
