ICYM Central Council, Mangalore Diocese in association with ICYM Venur Unit, ICYM Belthangady Deanery and Venur Grama Panchayath organises " Namma Kheray Swaacha Kheray "

Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Central Council, Mangalore Diocese in association with ICYM Venur Unit, ICYM Belthangady Deanery and Venur Grama Panchayath on the occasion of Year of Youth organised "Namma Kheray Swaacha Kheray" a cleanliness drive programme on Wednesday, 29th May 2019 at Ajilakere Lake, Venur.

The programme commenced with a formal inauguration at 6:30 am. Rev. Fr Ronald Prakash Dsouza - Director, ICYM Mangalore Diocese presided over the programme along with Rev. Fr Basil Vas - Director, ICYM Belthangady Deanery, Rev. Peter Aranha - Parish Priest / Director ICYM Christ King Church, Venur, Rev. Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza - Assistant Director, ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Mr. Ganapathi Shastri - Tahsildar, Belthangady Taluk, Mrs. Mohini Shetty - President, Venur Grama Panchayath, Mr. P. Dharmendra Kumar - Member, Naravi Zilla Panchayath, Mr. Arun Crasta - Vice President, Venur Grama Panchayath, Mr. Ronald Dsouza - Vice President and Mr. Steevan Dcunha - Secretary Venur Parish Pastoral Council, Sr. Shalini - Headmistress, Navachethana School, Venur, Mr. Arun Dsouza and Sr. Wilma - Animator, ICYM Venur Unit, Delson Dsouza - President and Reshma Fernandes - Secretary, ICYM Venur Unit, Vivian S Fernandes - President and Prashanth Pinto - Secretary, ICYM Belthangady Deanery, Mr. Anup Pais and other local leaders were present for the programme.

Jaison Leroy Pereira - President, ICYM Mangalore Diocese welcomed the guests and the gathering. Mr. Ganapathi Shastri inaugurated the programme and addressed the gathering with the words of appreciation to the youths for their young spirit in joining hands for a good cause. Rev. Fr Basil Vas appreciated the youths for initiating a wonderful event and requested to continue the same youth spirit in the future too. Fevisha Monteiro - General Secretary, ICYM Mangalore Diocese proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Stany Dsouza compered the programme. A total of 150 youths took part in the programme.
