Narendra Modi all set for grand welcome in Kasargod

Kasargod: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set for grand welcome in Kasargod. He is scheduled to address a convention of BJP workers at the municipal stadium at Vidyanagar in the outskirts of the town at 10.30 am on Sunday May 8. All preparations for this programme are going on in full swing. Dais and other necessary arrangements are being made.

Additional police forces from Karnataka and neighbouring states have arrived. The security team has arrived and undertaken inspection about safety and other arrangements. The special protection group visited the government college ground where the helicopter carrying Modi is scheduled to land, and also the area where his programme is planned. A central team will be arriving in the district today to undertake further inspections.

BJP leaders and activists led by Mangaluru MP Nalin Kumar Kateel have organized processions at different parts of the district to give vent to their enthusiasm. Modi is visiting the district for the first time after becoming the Prime Minister. Therefore, the party activists are planning a grand reception to him on arrival.
