PACE creates Guinness World Record for largest human image of boat

Mangaluru: PACE Group, which heads P A College of Engineering, Mangaluru and 13 other educational institutions across the globe, has entered the Guinness World Records for 'the largest human image of a boat'.

The event was held on Tuesday November 14 on the occasion of Children's Day - the birthday of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who believed in the potential of a child to shape the future of the world. It was held at India International School, Sharjah, a sister concern of PA College of Engineering and was attended by 4,882 students from 12 different nations and representatives of various institutions under PACE Group.

The adjudicator for Guinness World Records Ahmed Gabr declared the event officially 'Amazing' for setting the world record for the largest human image of a boat with 4,882 students.

The PACE group headed by noted educationist Dr PA Ibrahim Haji manages 14 educational institutionsin India, UAE and Kuwait with a student strength of 20,000. The group is dedicated to promote an effective learning environment that encourages excellence and diversity in thoughts and endeavor. The Pace Group caters to the educational needs of the common group of around 25 nationalities and is committed to building institutions that would enhance the quality of education around the world. PACE aims to set up modern educational institutions following high demand from parents alongside the respect and reputation its institutions have gained over the years.

Recently PACE Group has initiated an innovative programe viz, 'Fitness Byte' which is a class exercise for students from KG to grade 12 of age group 4 – 19 years with a specific aim to promote fitness among the youth as well as to develop fitness culture in our efforts towards creating a healthy new generation. The successful endeavour was the prolific result of an ardent vision of Dr P A Ibrahim Haji, the chairman of PACE Group, Abdulla Ibrahim, executive director and Dr Abdul Salam, CEO of PACE Group and former vice-chancellor, Calicut University and the directors of PACE group Salman Ibrahim, Zubair Ibrahim, Asif Mohammed and the untiring efforts of the staff and students.

The collaborated efforts of the teachers and students was appreciated by the chairman who congratulated and thanked them for engraving the name of PACE Group in the Guinness World Records and inscribing the day in the history of PACE Group.
