Udupi: POWER, Platform of Women Entrepreneurs (Reg) to organize POWER PARBHA – 16 two days exhibition cum sale to promote Women Entrepreneurs on 6th and 7th February, 2016 at Nutana Ravindra Matapa, MGM College, Udupi.

During the press conference with media persons at Udupi Press Club, Renu Jayaram, Founder President and Event Coordinator of POWER said that the intention of POWER organizes first time in Udupi to unite the women entrepreneurs and encourage research for women in Udupi district. During the two days of exhibition cum sale programme, more than 300 women entrepreneurs will participate.

She said many organizations like Jaycees, Giants, Lions, Lioness, Rotary, Rataract, Manipal Mahila Samaj, Birds club, Bikers Club, Toastmasters, Human rights, Inner wheel clubs along with Institutions like Bharatanjali, Prashanth n group & Milestone events shall participate in this event.
During the exhibition food, handicraft, textile and garments, fashion accessories, jewellery, cosmetics, home décor, paintings will be placed.
Power Parbha will be inaugurated on Friday, 6th February by the chief guest Ms Ushaprabha N Nayak, Secretary and correspondent of Expert group of institutions. Guest of honour present will be Ms.Shobha Karandlaje MP, Annmalai SP, Udupi, Dr. A P Achar Director of Sahyadri School of Management and Prof Kushuma Kamath.

The valedictory function will be held on Saturday, 7th February 2016 at 7 pm. Chief guest to valedictory function will be Dr. Sandhya Pai, Chief Editor of Taranga and guests of honor will be Dr. Vishal R. IAS, DC of Udupi district and Priyanka Mary Francis IAS, CEO, udupi ZP.
